DESCRIPTION Vintage 1930’s-40’s Buckeye Beer Cash Register Sign - RAREDetails:Buckeye Beer cash register sign Buckeye Brewing Co. - Toledo, OhioCirca 1938-1942Features ‘Bucky’ the famous waiter mascotFeatured slogans: "Brewed as in Grandpa’s day" & "Kraeusen brewed - as of old"Metal sign with wood and chrome base - all original Measures approx. 15 3/4" x 3 1/4" at the base and 10" tall For your consideration is this vintage Buckeye Beer cash register sign. The sign is in overall good condition considering its age. The only issues noticed is a chip on the foam of the beer and a blemish on the letter "Y" and near Bucky's right leg. The colors are bright and vibrant without any fading. The sign has a clear coating over the front that was most likely added to preserve the colors. The coating is uneven and has left drip marks on the back. The chrome molding is starting to pull away from the base on the ends. The sign is missing one foot.
