NorwichSelling here is a good example of Arthur Collins' ' Map of the City of Norwich..', published in Norwich by Jarrold & Sons and sold by Edward Stanford, 1899.Original coloured engraved folding map, printed on paper, dissected into forty sections and laid onto linen, folding down with upper and lower outer facing sections with original marbled paper covering, Stanford's period identification label and 20th c owners label to upper section. The map measures 105cm by 79cm when unfolded and 10.5cm by 19.5cm when folded down.Please View My Other Items For SaleCondition: Generally in good condition: outer marbled paper covered section a little rubbed to extremities, short split to cloth on left hand central fold line and 1 inch split to cloth of the upper right hand fold line. When folded down the cloth at corners/conjunction of sections a little rubbed and with a small hole.
