Vintage 1900s GYN Drs Bag with GYN Tools Museum Quality from Comanche Texas. A labelinside this bag says "Duro-Mastermade" A.S.Aloe Co St Louis Mo. The doctors bag isn'tin the best of condition but its as original as it gets. Some of the outer leathercovering is off and other parts are loose. The top portion of the bag has holders for6 medicine bottles and includes a stethoscope which is in poor condition, Metrazol and Pituitary Solution boxes without vials for Obstetrical Use boxes, s...utures and four breakablevials with cat gut sutures for Obstetrical Use. Also included are several tools forOBGYN use, a brochure and a Physicians Birth Memorandum with lots of 1930s entries fordelivered babies in Comanche Texas and surrounding areas. This Memorandum includesthe county, town, name of child, sex, date and time of birth, born alive or stillborn, father and mothers name, race or color, parent ages, number of children and special remarks such as sutures given, hard labor, etc. and occupation of father. Thats whatin top. In the bottom is a pull out tray with more tools including forceps, hemostats, sissors, needles and lots more of OBGYN Tools. Supposely the tray could be pulled outand the whole tray could be sterilized. Inside the pullout tray is another handled tray. A really neat turn of the century doctors bag and tools.
