Ciner is a costume Jewelry Company established in NYC in the late 1800's It is still in business today. Fashion and sterling jewelry produced by Ciner is highly collectable. I've seen so many wonderful pieces. This one I've never seen leaving to me to believe it's most like rare. It's really an incredible work of art as well as a brooch or pendant. I love it on a pretty silver cord chain. Its made of metal construction and finished in a very substantial and finely done white and ...gold plate which the Ciner company is known for. It is stamped CINER on the back and carries a large bale attached to the back side hidden from view when worn. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. I date it to be from the 1980's
