Sheath is new. Unused knife. Only displayed.This is a custom ordered John Nelson Cooper knife. Notice the extra deep hollow grind. This takes a lot of extra time when hand-building a knife. This beauty has a very hefty handle with cu...rved brass double hilt and butt cap. A great knife for the guy with big hands. You could fall a tree or chop firewood with this one. Razor sharp!Mr. Cooper made this knife himself sometime between 1968 and 1977 in his Burbank, CA shop.This knife has never been used, carried or resharpened. It is as rare as you can get in the knife world. The brass has a very nice patina on it that can be polished if the new owner so desires. Some very slight handling marks and scratches on the brass. Blade has the original grind lines just as Mr. Cooper finished it.You can hand it down to the next few generations.
