IBM XT Model F Mechanical Keyboard With USB Converter, Vintage Clicky Keyboard
Item History & Price
This is a vintage IBM XT Model F keyboard! 6lbs of American steel and heavy-duty plastic. Clicky buckling-spring capacitive keys will outlast human civilization. And USB!
This keyboard, model 1503206, would have shipped in 1981-82 with the IBM 5150 desktop PC. Condition is excellent; no dents, scratches, cracks or significant yellowing. The little feet pop out and snap crisply into place. All keys work, of course, and have that tactile depth and audible response that new keyboards o...ften lack.
I once installed a Teensy-based USB adapter running Soarer's Converter in a totally reversible manner, this could likely use a software update. The original coiled XT cable comes with the keyboard too.
