Item Description:Presenting a VERY RARE ~ Hard To Find ~ Pyrex TREASURE ~ White Casserole Dish with Blue Atomic Starburst/Stars~ with Original Glass Lid~ Circa 1950's ~ ~The dish is unmarked~We Found This Treasure in Corning, NY...The Haven for Rare Pyrex...
~ Measures about 10" Wide, handle to handle and almost 3" Deep and about 7" in Diameter~
Based on INTERNET RESEARCH and Information from a Pyrex Collector...I believe this is the RARE, HTF Salesman Sample...in the NEW ME...XICO PATTERN...additional information on this Pattern is that it was never put into production, with only a few, possibly 3-5 pieces made...this information is again from the sources listed above and I do not have any other confirmation on the validity of the information, it's just what I have learned. However, I was not able to locate any other pieces in this color pattern...so the information is possibly correct....you can decide on that.

This Casserole Dish is in AMAZING vintage condition, it has been used, but doesn't appear as though it was used often. There are minimal scratch marks in the dish. PLEASE NOTE...inside the dish, on the one side of the rim, there is a black mark, it's hard to say if it is a manufacturing flaw, or from the lid rubbing on it, or from use...however, it really does not take anything away from this piece.
The BLUE Stars are Bold and Vibrant, Shiny and Nice... The White is crisp and clean...
The Glass Lid, is the Original Glass Lid, the Lid does have some scratch marks, possibly from stacking or storage...still a nice piece... This treasure displays nicely...enjoy~
