Here you are bidding on a pair of Western Electric 245-A Vacuum Tubes with globe-shaped glass envelopes and engraved, moulded bases. The WE 245-A was used in many Western Electric devices. In particular, it appeared in the 83-A, 83-B, ...83-C, 83-D, 83-E, and 83-F amplifiers! The tubes were tested on a Signal Corps I-177B tube tester. Test results as follows: Tube 1. This tube has no serial number. Test results were 1000 with a minimum of 525.Tube 2. This tube has serial number: 27946. Test results were 725 with a minimum of 525.The tubes are in nice physical condition as you can see in the photographs!There is no particulate matter in the envelopes and the leads are still a crisp red color!!Shipping weight will be about 2.5 pounds.I will pack all items properly and with great care.
