This beautiful Singer 221 Featherweight (#AD884081) was manufactured on March 18, 1935, Singer's fourth run of the 221. It has the cool "School Bell" bobbin thread guide, Egyptian Scroll Face plate, Chrome Hand wheel & Stitch Length Plate, early thread tension regulator and the early base design. Definitely one of the survivors that was well used as can be seen by the needles scratches and wear on decals/paint but she purrs like a kitten when sewing. The pai...nt and decals are in fair condition with needle scratches, blemishes and wear as can be seen in the photos and expected for its age. The case with tray and key is in great functional condition and good cosmetic condition. The 3-120 Singer motor runs well by activating the original metal Singer foot pedal with new power cord.
