This solid copper kettle will make a real statement empty, as is, inside or on porch or patio filled with plants, firewood, magazines, or what have you. This has been in the extended family for years since it was purchased by a late aunt in the antique business. It has real character. Gazing at and into it has taken my imagination to many places it may have been and what it has been used for. You are invited to continue its journey.On one side of each handle is a ra...ised image resembling a feather, maybe the marks of an artist or welder. A close look assures one that this was not "mass-produced.There are eight 3/16" holes, long-ago drilled through the bottom. It is: 10 1/2" tall; 20" inside diameter; 21 1/2" outside the dovetail rim; 27" across, handle end to handle end. The handles are very solid, probably brass, well secured.
