Sims Skateboards Bert Lamar Model 1980This auction is for a Bert Lamar Model 1980 by Sims Skateboards. The board is long out of print , and almost 40 years old making it super collectible. Bert Lamar went on to be a top Snowboarder and eventually started his own brand that was highley sucsessful in the 90's with riders like John Cardiel and Mike Ranquet. Art was done by the late Bernie Tostenson who created the sims logo and most of their early graphics before doing his own thing Bran...d X. After that Flip skateboards tracked him down when they came to the US and Bernie was the man behind all of there most famous graphics like Tom's friends. This is an Extremely rare board, not a lot of these were produced back in 1980, Get it now while you can! You don't want to miss this one! This is a hand screen printed board, not a cheap heat transfer that will flake off in a couple of years. Board has some storage scuffs.
