Here for your consideration is a rare Art Deco style AM/ Short Wave Wooden Tube Radio from the 1930s. Possibly it is made by Clinton, model 127 , but I am not 100% sure - the label at the bottom of the radio is missing the model number. Wonderful deco speaker areawith the round cuts, added bars, and vertical column. The backlit reverse plastic dial is very impressive but it has two cracks. This 12” x 6.5” x 8” set was refinished at some point in its life, it has few minor s...cratches and dents. I took this set to my tech friend recently, and he replaced 12 capacitors. I could pick up plenty of AM loud and clear across the dial and some Shortwave“chatter” on its short antenna wire in my basement. The volume control is tight, but works well. The tuning knob is not original and it is missing the dial pointer.
