DescriptionUnusual pair of hand painted cherub decorated champleve enamel and lustre porcelain vases. Made in the 19th Century, in France (possibly by Sevres porcelain).Each vase is mounted in champleve enamelled brass with a porcelain body and removable glass liner.Not marked but guaranteed to be early and original pieces (base photographed).Some patination to the mounts and with some minor cracking to the brass around the rim of one vase (can be seen in photographs). Other...wise, they are in good condition with no other chips, cracks or restoration.They measure approximately 4¾" in height by 3½" in diameter, across the top rim. Service
