Vintage 1960s Spong Bean Slicer In Box
Made in Great Britain by Spong this is a vintage bean slicer complete in original box.
Designed to slice runner beans it operates by turning the handle and pushing the beans through the slot on the side.
Made from sturdy cast iron and painted a bright blue colour the slicer comes in it original box.
It is in superb condition, a few marks to the metal. Suction pads on the base not work as they did when it was originall...y made. Top box flap has separated from the box (see photo).
