Item # 13149......  A Rare 1945 USA & Canada Joint venture Proposal For Navy Island Niagara Falls as the permanent United Nations Headquarters.It comes in 3 parts; one being the heavy cardboard folder which holds the two other parts. First  inner part is a 4 page folded Letter expressing the purpose of  the Supplement to the representatives of the United Nations. This part has the main note on the front as jus...t described. The interior pages having on one side, a list of all USA member's names of the International Committee and on the right side, all the Canadian member's names of the International Committee.  The total number of names are about 88 so I would think each of these people received one of these (maybe) plus whoever overseas received one. This is for sure a very limited printing based on those numbers. This one belonged to the Mayor of Niagara Falls during the period of 1945 and who's name is the first name listed on the Canadian side of International Committee members.  The back and last page of this folded section is blank. This first letter portion measures 12 3/4" tall x 10" wide when closed, thus being 12 3/4" tall by 20" open.   The main Supplement part, consists of 22 pages including the cover. It measures 13 3/4" tall x 11" wide. So fairly substantial in size. It's bound by string with the red oval top center having an embossed image of the falls. There are as shown, some foxing on the top of photo 4 and the centerfold page. There are a few others on random pages and they would be small and faint.  There are maps, images, and type face through out as shown. Overall a very limited edition piece, well worthy item for any Niagara Falls Collector or Historian.
