More than 200 images (I’m pretty sure the total is 212). Somewhat tattered leather cover with “Snap Shot Album” and “Whitehorse Yukon” burned/etched into it and an image of an Indian chief painted on it. There’s a certain amount of helpful captioning on the pages in the front of the album, which, along with signs seen in some of the images, sort of helps to tell the story. I can't say if the pictures are mounted in chronological order, but they seem like they probably ar...e. The first page has two real photo postcards from Edmonton, and the handwritten captioning on that page says, “‘Marine Operators’ April 25, 1943 to April 26, 1944 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada” There are no further dates anywhere in the album, so it’s not clear if that time range only refers to time spent in Edmonton, or if it includes the entire book which includes construction-related (mining-related? oil-related?) travels in Northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories and which finishes in/near Whitehorse, Yukon. I’m assuming that the images are in the book pretty much in chronological order, but I can’t prove that they are. As for “Marine Operators” I couldn’t find anything definitive online about such a company having operated in Canada in the 1940’s. OK - I can only provide 12 images with this listing, so I’ll try to give you a page-by-page listing of the contents, noting (*) which pages I’ve provided images of. This is not a random sampling - I've tried to show as many of what I consider to be the most interesting images here. Pg.#: 1, two Edmonton RPPC’s 2* four photos… one of six men in front of Studebaker dealership (next to the Scott Building), “Carignan, Dugan, [Holma?
