A near mint condition EDISON HOME MODEL D 2 & 4 min. gearing phonograph. Serial# 351700D. The beautiful wood cygnet horn was made by Don Gfell.
The beautiful tiger grain oak case is retains it's original shellac finish and is as near mint condition as you will find. In fact, the entire machine is in near mint condition including the beautiful bedplate and the fancy detailing. Pictures show well. The instruction label is intact inside th...e lid. The Model-H 4 minute reproducer still retains the green protective coating and the stylus is in excellent condition. This phonograph winds up and plays very well. If you desire to play the 2 min. wax cylinder records you just have to purchase a Model-C reproducer. I am including one 4 min. Amberol cylinder record in it's original box titled: #290 Gypsy Airs Violin Solo.
The phonograph case measures 16 1/2" long x 9 1/4" deep.
The oak wood horn bell measures 20" dia. and is 15" long to the metal gooseneck. The Don Gfell horn is a work of art and is in mint condition.
