Wonderful, early, Zuni Pueblo, Frank Vacit (1915-1999), signed, silver & inlay Ring. This is another piece that belonged to my father, and recently has come out of storage.A wonderful Wotemthla Kachina Ring, with delicate, channel mosaic inlay consisting of turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl, and jet. Frank was known to pioneer this technique, working through the 1950's, and became a master of his craft. This piece is signed with his distinctive "fleur de lis" mark, one of the first... artists, at that time, to use a hallmark. It measures 7/8" long across the face (top to bottom) x 6 2/16 wide (left to right). It is slightly out-of-round, is signed with his hallmark (shown), and is otherwise unmarked, but guaranteed coin grade silver or higher. It is a size 11, and can be adjusted, either way.Condition is excellent vintage, collectible, and very wearable. I have magnified my photos 3x, so you can see every detail, most of which are invisible to the eye, when just looking at the piece. There is one tiny, tiny chip to the coral on his left ear, but again, without the photos, it is bearly noticable, and poses no problem. Other than that, it is in wonderful condition, and only shows minor scuffing from having been worn and loved. A great "go to" ring, easy to wear on a daily basis, for a man or woman, or to add to any fine collection. Comes from a smoke free environment.Circa: 1950Weight: 18.3 gramsFor any questions you may have prior to bidding, please use the number below.
