This life-size bronze Sitting Warthog was created by Bridget M. Randall, who is a noted South African artist that specializes in bronze sculptures. A life size sitting warthog was commissioned by the Read Gallery. The piece is #4 of six, and they all have been sold out. The piece comes with a letter of authenticity and certificate, signed by Bridget.
Bridget Randall has had a life-long interest in the arts, and started producing bronzes in 1997. Sh...e produces her pieces in plasticine or wax, and then has her pieces cast professionally. Her noted works include several different warthog poses; a full size polo horse for the Leo Baxter estate; and a series of ten horses that were exhibited at the Francois du Tolt Fine Art in Knysna in 2005. She has produced over fifty bronze sculptures.
The warthog is approximately 16" W x 42" L x 28" high. This item is available locally or will require crating, with the price determined at time of purchase.
