Original Description:
Ancient First Class Ex Ossibus/Blessed Francis of Assisi. Condition is Used. Shipped registered Mail. This First Class Relic is so old, It was made by the Holy Roman Catholic Church when St. Francis of Assisi was still a Blessed. It is unique in that it is double sealed by the Roman Catholic Church. The seal inside of the casing is also sealed on the outside, with the original strings. This is absolutely amazing.

St. Francis was canonized in July of 1228, this Relic was when bef...ore St. Francis of Assisi was canonized as the Relic states him as a Blessed. So this old Relic is at least 792 years old.

St. Francis of Assisi was born Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone in either 1181 or 1182
Died October 03, 1226 at age 44.
Canonized July 16, 1228 by Pope Gregory lX
I had listed this Relic before but removed it after I saw that the Glass casing was loose. It looks like tiny insects damaged the paper inside causing the Bone of St. Francis to dislodge. The Bone is there, only it is loose. More pics to come.

On Jun-28-19 at 05:55:45 PDT, seller added the following information:Lest there be any confusion. After the death of St. Francis of Assisi, he was known as Bl. Francis Da Mirror.
"Mirror" because he was the Mirror of perfection. This was the title given him by one of his Contemporaries.
