This innovative Kaleidoscope was created by Sherry Moser in 1992, towards the beginning of this series. She is a talented artist that came up with the large viewing area and a used a tapered mirror system to project a spikey star shape. This scope itself is made from a deep purple mirrored German new antique glass and a clear design ornament has been incorporated on each side. This kaleidoscope is Unique in shape and design, Please look at all of the pictures t...o get the best Idea. This is a tappered 3 mirror system. The work is 15" long, 5" tall and 6" across at it's widest. Sphaera works with a round object chamber that contains Lamp worked glass floating in oil, you turn by hand. Sphaera Kaleidoscope is signed, dated and #31/300, S. Moser '92 31/300 as can be seen in one of the pics. This is an awesome find for a collector of Kaleidoscopes and is in great condition!.
