Original Description:
This is a Kelly, brass, bell bottom, presentation Fixed Globe railroad lantern. Lantern measure 10 1/2" tall. Photos show that the original plaster is still in place. Frame is solid; bell bottom and rim of lid have a no dings. There are two minor cracks on the dome. There is a screw off font which is easily removed from the bell bottom; burner complete with wick. The globe is wheel cut with the name J E Spencer inside a decorative wreath. There are no cracks. Stamped on the underside o...f the bell bottom is J H Kelly & Co. Rochester, N.Y. We found information of a James E Spencer who was once a President of the Rogers Locomotive Works. Could be the same? Free shipping. PA residents pay sales tax.
