Rare fighting club from South Eastern Australia. Collected in the 1930's at Swan Reach (there was a large mission there until late 1950's). The stick was a wall decoration at an old family shack for many years, before I purchased this.
I purchased the item, together with other items that are now available on Ebay, for a mobile art exhibition about aboriginal culture. The exhibition has now ended and I no longer need the artifacts.
