Up for auction is an extremely rare vintage 8/8's 14P Filarmonica Novodur Para ProfesionalesJose Monserrat Pou Condition - used / very good condition Width - approximately 25mm or about 8/8 of an inch Grind - full hollow Point - Square Shoulder - Single Shoulder Spine - Straight / Plain Scales – Black Plastic with center plug Jimps - Top and Bottom of the tang Text on Tang - 14 FILARMONICA NOVODUR JOSE MONSERR...AT POU 14P Text on Back - FABRICACION ESPANOLA MADE IN SPAIN Etching on Blade - Filarmonica NovodurPara Profesionales Additional Notes - Thisis an increasingly rare 8/8's Filarmonica Novodur. Although used, this Novodur is in still in very good condition. The blade has some surface blemishes (which is common among carbon-steel Filarmonicas) and a slight taper at the toe. The bevel is narrow and even. The gold wash is unfaded and vibrant and the etcheddesign is clear and visible. The factory grind pattern is stillstrong and visible throughout the blade. The bevel is narrow and thespine shows just a little hone wear. The scales are in very good condition and the blade opens and closes centered in its scales. When tested, this blade gave me that legendary Filarmonica shave.* If youhaven't had the experience of an 8/8's Filarmonica, here's your chance to pickone up.
