Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for 45 years, and always have something interesting for sale. Here up for bid is this beautiful looking all original early 1920's Atwater Kent Breadboard radio receiver, model 10, #4340, in the rare black color. These were more common in brown, making the black one much rarer. The wooden board is in excellent condition. The original finish looks almost like new. The bakelite par...ts have no cracks or chips. The radio has both paper tags underneath. The radio measures 31.25 inches long and 10 inches deep. The radio plays and gets stations when long antenna wire is used and battery power is connected. The radio comes with five good emission type O1A tubes. This is an excellent example of the Atwater Kent model 10 breadboard radio. You will love this radio. low $799 starting bid.
