It's very hard to find anything dedicated to Tropico which was for a while an independent town at the south end of Glendale centered around what is now San Fernando Road and Central Ave. NOTE the photo of Central Avenue as it was in 1907. Tropico was famous for strawberry production along with other fruits. The Transportation section points out Tropico is on the LA Inter-Urban Railway "giving the people of Tropico easy access to the busy (downtown LA) and at the same time enablin...g them to enjoy all the comforts of the country in their home life." Eventually, Tropico was absorbed into Glendale. Brochure is dated April 30, 1907 and issued by the Tropico Improvement Association. Opens out flat to approx 6.5x10". NOTE the light streaks on cover panel and the modern phone number in pen on back panel. Overall in good condition. I'm happy to combine postage so please ask for an invoice which reflects that. I'm listing more items buy it now, so please look for them in my store - lots of paper, photos, postcards and other things that have caught my eye.
