Large Art Deco Bakelite Catalin Bookends

This is a pair of bakelite/catalin bookends with issues. These might be best for someone who knows how to restore or work with bakelite, or someone who just likes them as they are. Three sides of each one are faded/discolored to a dull orange color. Two sides of each one are nicely marbled green and butterscotch colors and the insides appear to be as well. One corner has a chip that measures about 3/4" across. There are some scratches, but no cracks.... Even as they are, there are enough good sides to use as bookends with a nice presentation. They measure approximately 6-1/2" by 6" deep by 4" at the base and 5-1/2" tall. Large and heavy at 5 lbs. 7 oz. for the pair. The thickness of the walls of them is approximately 11/16". Photos are with and without flash, so some may appear brighter than the actual items.
