This specimen consists of a partial, complexly etched crystal of deep reddish spessartine garnet!!! The crystal exhibits sharp, complex faces and etching with glassy ...luster!!! The crstal is gemmy and lively in person!!! Historic gem material!!! This specimen retains an old label from the U.S. National Museum (Smithsonian)!!! Classic material!!!
