This charming four blade "REVO" fan was made in the 1930's by the "Revo Electric Co." of Tipton, EnglandIt is sold as a "collectable item" and if being bought to use, it would need to be checked and refurbished by a qualified electrician or engineer before use.The fan body has retained much of its' original black painted finish and gold lining, although there is some surface rust showing through in places and the usual marks, scuffs and scratches that you would associate with an item ...of this age. There are no splits or cracks to the four solid brass blades or cage, that I can find, however, one of the screws that holds the cage to the arms is a replacement.The base has "Revo" painted in gold, this has retained a fair colour, there is also an applied plaque to the bottom with the manufacturers details and specifications.The fan doesn't appear to be working, although the blades do rotate and the on/off switch is present and moves.The fan measures 33 cm (13 inches) to the top of the cage. Desk Fan. This charming four blade "REVO" fan was made in the 1930's by the "Revo Electric Co." of Tipton, England
It is sold as a "collectable item" and if being bought to use, it would need to be checked and refurbished by a qualified electrician or engineer before use. The fan body has retained much of its' original black painted finish and gold lining, although there is some surface rust showing through in places and the usual marks, scuffs and scratches that you would associate with an item of this age.
