Woman's lambskin jerkin, handmade, museum quality. Condition is New. It is shaped like a waistcoat, trimmed with basil edgings. Applique floral designs placed compactly to cover the whole surface of the jerkin, are outlined in basil and silk embroidery.This is a rich example of traditional Romanian sheepskin waistcoats, worn by men and women, and embroidered all over in intricate and colourful patterns.
