wade and butcher Magnum Bonum straight razor. This is the center piece of my collection. A true Goliath coming in at 17/16ths and is the definition of a “meatcutter “ everything about this razor is big and demands appreciation, not only for its enormous size but for the beauty and craftsmanship also. this sat in a museum for years until I acquired it, it has zero rust, just a beautiful patina, with etching showing ever so faintly. The blade needs no restoration at all. It’s in it...s original scales and is cracked on one side as you can see in pictures. I personally have never seen another wade and butcher like it and know I’ll never come across one in this original condition again, it’s an absolutely Breathtaking masterpiece and shaves every bit as good, honed on an original Escher it’s shave ready and is a complete joy to shave with, after shaving it’s cleaned, dried, oiled and wrapped with the upmost care and put safely away.
