This listing is for the original 18 sheets of 5"x8.25" paper ephemera whaling ship shown. New Bedford Massachusetts.
Waling collateral: seamen's accounts for 18 crew members of the famous New Bedford whaler Wanderer (sailed April 13, 1908 for the Atlantic; returned November 12,... 1909. These accounts list crewmen's "lay" or share in voyage, cash and "slops" (personal items such as tobacco, notions and clothing from captain's chest) drawn by each man. Most of them had Azorean names, Several were deserters.
