An original letter that belonged to a Marine named Clarence E. Sutton. This Marine won the Medal of Honor for his conduct during the Boxer Rebellion in China. This is a letter written by him. It is dated during the year of the Spanish-American War, 1902. In one area it says, ..........Our boys are still down in Samar fighting...........it is the devil's work to fight in these jungles..........I currently have other... items listed that belonged to Clarence Sutton including papers that say he rescued famous Marine Smedley D.
