Up for auction is a 19th Century Sioux Beaded Pipe Bag with fringe. It has tin tinklers above the beadwork with dyed horsehair. It measures 31" long overall with some fringe and the pipe bag is 14-1/4" long. It is beaded up each side. The beadwork is 5-1/2" wide. This is a sinew sewn bag but has had some recent embellishments. The 6 tin tinklers are definitely added, probably in the 1930's or later. A nice brain tanned sinew sewn bag.
