Original Description:
A 244" (620cm) crinoline flounce of Victorian Brussels appliqué lace on machine net ground.  The flower motif with esprit has a point de gaze ground, see Picture 8.  The lace is a full flounce, as supplied bu the lace makers, as it has un-decorated net at both ends, only the appliqued length has been included in the measurements  The lace is 13 3/4" (35cm) deep and has areas of damage and repairs, throughout the ground, see photographs. The damage could be repaired with... tulle and would not be noticeable when gathered onto a wedding dress.
