Original Description:
A lovely genuine and vintage example of Marcel Breurer's 1925 Paris lamp showcasing Bauhaus period design. The lamp was originally designed by Marcel Breuer and made for the 1925 Exhibition Universale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris.
It is in lovely original condition with a patina and has not been polished. The original nickel plating will however polish up extremely well, but I have left this for the new owner. The original white paint inside the la...mp shade is also untouched with nice age. The original cloth base on the underside of the lamp is also in excellent original condition as photographed. 
The lamp measures 49 cm in height and 40cm wide, it has been re-wired and is in perfect working order.
