For sale is an original leaf from a printed book of hours from Paris. The laid paper leaf is decorated by beautiful ornamental and figural metalcut borders by Philippe Pigouchet, among others showing the Virgin with child. The text is decorated by painted initials in red and blue.
Leaf size: c. 15 x 1...0 cm
Condition:
- minor stains, lower margin with small repaired tear, inner margin with tiny hole
- otherwise still well-preserved
This is an original, c. 500 years old, no reproduction!

Zum Verkauf steht ein Originalblatt aus einem gedruckten Pariser Stundenbuch von Simon Vostre. Das hübsche Bütten-Blatt ist verziert mit wundervollen ornamentalen und figürlichen Metallschnittbordüren. Der Text ist mit eingemalten Initialen in rot und blau verziert.
Blattgröße ca.: 15 x 10 cm
Zustand:
- leicht fleckig, unterer Rand mit kleinem repariertem Einriß, innerer Rand mit winzigem Löchlein
- sonst noch in brauchbarem Zustand
