Exquisite 24” AntiqueWax Over Paper Mache Lady Doll with Paperweight glass Eyes c1860’sPaper mache dolls holdsa special class of their own in doll history, representing some of the earliermodels of dolls. This particular girl stands at a whopping 24” tall, with a waxover paper mache shoulder head construction, with original set paperweight eyesin a stunning almond shape. She has her original fixed blond mohair wig. She’sadorned in gorgeous fashion doll dress, so she comes out j...ust stunning! Shewould make a wonderful addition to any doll collection.She has a wax overpaper mache shoulder head, with affixed original brown paperweight glass eyes, with brown brows, and a closed mouth, with slightly-blushed features. Shestands at a big 24” tall on antique cloth body with original leather shoes and blacklace stockings.CONDITION: Very goodantique condition. The wax over paper mache head does have some minor tomoderate wear, although it is not to be unexpected, as these types of dolls aregenerally some of the older dolls available, and have thus sustained much wearover the many years, shoulder plate has some cracks. The hands are replaced.The cloth body is good, with only some typical wear.
