this unique expressive tapestry is hand woven with natural sheep wool in different shades of red blue, yellow... etc. it also has a wool fringe on both sides
it has a beautiful art deco geometric pattern done in the style : Amsterdam School and still looks very modern today.
originally made as a table cloth but it can be used for so many different purposes, like a beautiful wall tapestry, an accent piece over a chair or sofa, an accent rug.
i hand picked this piece on a collectors fair in the Netherlands.
in excellent near Mint vintage condition, no flaws to mention, colors still fibrant, no wear.

these handmade woven table runners were very popular in dutch homes in the old days. you can still find them in the old dutch pubs on the tables.
they are known to be very strong and durable and hand woven of 100 % sheep wool
