Auctions for a very nice and rare Winchester 100 yard bay or surf reel in its original purple trade box. Box conditions about very good with wear but what a rare box...reels at least excellent or better condition with little wear from moving in the box for the last 90* years. Reel operates about excellent or better. It was probably spooled with 100 yard of the old linen line and boxed ever since. The click and drag are in great condition. Note the bottom screw at foot is missing but ha...rd rubber side plates in excellent condition without cracks or chips. Also note the purple box wrapping originally was blue....not sure what that’s about. Possibly another name/label under it! Note it’s stamped 100 Yds. DOUBLE ACTION FISHING REEL MADE IN USA.
