For your consideration we have a tennis racket that has a deer head as its logo with registered trademark under the logo. We cannot find any other information about this tennis racket. Its either a 1880s transitional lopsighted to flat top racket or a 1920's Real Tennis Racket. Here are the facts of this racket. The overall length of this racket is 26.5in. The head is 11.25 in by 8.5in outside measurement. 10.5 by 7.5in inside. It has 27 horizontal strings going from bottom to top 2 th...in 22 thick with 3 thin on the top. There are 18 vertical strings. There is a golden dear or stag at the throat and marked underneath of that is Registered Trademark in gold.on the right hand side of the racket on the trade mark side it a flat-head screw and below the screw is 12 1/2oz marked in black. The handle is octagon shaped made of wood and has a small leather strip at the bottom of the racket. the width of the racket head is about .7in on the side and .6in on the top and 1.5in at the bottom. There are some dents, dings and chips consistent with age and wear. Please see all pictures. This is a no reserve action good luck.
