I just love how this turned out.I took an old apothecary bottle and then covered it with tissue paper to give it texture and then highlighted it with gold.Already being quite elegant, I didn't want to overdo it so looking through my collection of things -- I came upon the little antique hankie that was not in perfect condition but quite lovely all the same and I found a little vintage rhinestone brooch. The two seemed to go together so I tied on the hankie and pinned on the brooch and ...then simply finished with the velvet ribbon top. That way I could repurpose the old bottle and display the hankie and the brooch and if I wanted to wear the brooch, I could.The bottle itself is a little over 5" in height and the little velvet ribbon hat adds about another inch.
