New Page 1ANTIQUE VINTAGE HALLICRAFTERS 7" ROUND SCREEN TV SET FROM 1947 WORKING!This is a beautiful example of a restored 1947 Hallicrafters television receiver model 505 that maintains an excellent picture when in operation. 1947 is a very early year for any set production as very few people had a television set that early. This piece is a collector's dream because it has channel 1 on the the set which was done away with during the summer of 1947. Later sets would not have... channel one on it because no stations after 1947 were allowed to use it. This set is complete with an external digital converter which is necessary to have when in operation. The original back is in place and the mahogany case has the original finish. Don't miss this extreme rarity if an early set that still works is desired. The only thing not included is the vintage rabbit ears antenna. The seller recommends using a variac or equivalent when powering up the set. Actually, all antique TV's should be operated in this way. Shipping in the US only is available and is set at $115.00.
