Antique wool Paisley shawl. Approximately 64"x68"
Some damage with age. There is a tear on one edge, a hole in the red fabric area, a hole in the paisley area, and a black mark next to the hole in the red. All of these are shown and pointed out in the photos. The photos held to the light give you an overall impression of age, as you can see there are thin and worn areas throughout. The white lines you see running across in the photo in front of the door... is NOT damage. It is part of the screen door.
This is still a lovely piece. I am not a textiles expert, so please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have. This was purchased at auction along with many other remnant pieces I will be listing.
