This is a pair of opera glasses with superb gilt metal mounts which have a keyfret and knurled design. Stamped SALOM & CO OPTICIANS LONDON & EDINBURGH around rim of lens frames.In original leather case with silk lining.Width 4 in (10 cm).Some surface marks to outer body and screw required for focus wheel. ANTIQUE PAIR SALOM & CO OPERA GLASSES IN ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE, 19TH CENTURY Description This is a pair of opera glasses with superb gilt metal mounts which have a keyfret and knurled design. Stamped SALOM & CO OPTICIANS LONDON & EDINBURGH around rim of lens frames. In original leather case with silk lining. Width 4 in (10 cm).
Some surface marks to outer body and screw required for focus wheel. Signs of wear to leather case.
