This is a very hard to find original Splitdorf S1 single cylinder magneto for an old motorcycle or other one-cylinder application. The tag says S1-1364. I believe this magneto was used on several early single cylinder motorcycles. It is in good shape but will need some obvious work on the output end as can be seen. It turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear. It has good magnetism. It is clockwise rotation and m...ounts on a 2 inch pattern and all of the mounting threads are in great shape. With a little elbow grease and a few parts this should be a real nice magneto! These S1 magnetos are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for an authentic restoration here is a great start! The pictures tell the story.
