An antique English dark red / burgundy velvet and silk lined box for holding a circular brooch, with a morocco exterior.
A beautifully shaped old box - very usable & ideal for display!CONDITION: All original and generally very good, with some signs of wear & fading commensurate with age and use - see pictures. Hinge & closure snap secure.DATE/...MARKS: 19th Century.DIMENSIONS: 35 mm space diameter (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.WEIGHT: Approx. 30.5 grams.
