Comes from the personal library of Fred Ress and has his original bookplate on the inner front cover. Ress was a very early employee of the Woodruff Printing Company operating in Lincoln, which was founded in 1887 and operated for 101 years before finally closing in 1988.
Measures 7 x 10. 832 pages. Illustrated. Includes numerous vintage ads, cartoons, etc.
Includes lots of book binding related pieces, labor union notes and records, delegate reports from around the country, etc..
Attractively bound in 3/4 leather with with gilt-stamped spine lettering. The book shows only minor rubbing and corner wear to the leather with a few small chips to the top right front edge of the blank front flyleaf.
Otherwise Excellent condition - binding tight - covers and pages very clean - no writing, soiling, odors, torn or folded pages, etc.
All issues are bound with the original covers.
