For sale is an antique tennis racket from the 1920’s made by Alexander Taylor NYC. It is the Westchester Model and has the number 14 and letter D engraved on the grip. It also has the name B. Shaffer written in red on the racket head press. I had it restrung by Mark Teague of the Grand Central Racket in Manhattan who has been stringing professional rackets since the 1980’s. This means it is in playable condition if you want to have a leisurely wood racket day at the courts.
