ANTIQUE  1800s CIRCA WALNUT BURL VENEER JEWELRY BOX MEASURING - 15 INCHES LONG - 10 INCHES WIDE AND STANDS 6 INCHES TALL WITH AN INLAID 6 POINTED STAR IN THE TOP. OPEN THE LID AND THERE ARE BEAUTIFUL HAND CARVED LEAVES & BUTTONS ALONG WITH 2 MIRRORS AND A GENTLEMANS PORTRAIT IN THE CENTER OF THE TOP LID.  ORNATE 9 COMPARTMENTS WITH SOME LIDS IN THE INSIDE  BOTTOM WITH BURL TOPS AND DESIGNS.  BOX HAS HAD SOME REWORK DONE ON IT SO LOOK CLOSELY AT THE PICTURES... AS IT IS MISSING SOME KNOBS AND THE LOCK AND HINGES REPLACED AND LOCK DOES NOT LINE UPON TOP AND BOTTOM.  A VERY EARLY 1800s AND ORNATE JEWELL BOX AND VERY NICE IN ITS PRESENT CONDITION.
